Montecristi. was sworn in as the new Provincial Governor Montecristi Mr. Apolinar Jiménez Cabrera, who hails from the municipality of Castanets, thus gives effect to the decree 150-11 designating it in that position.
Jiménez Cabrera was sworn in by Antonio Picel Cabral, Deputy Minister of Interior and Police, and is replacing José Ignacio Martínez (Nacho).
